TidyUp Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TidyUp (“the App”) is published by 24Bit (Mustansir Makda). It helps you review photos and videos on your device, one item at a time, and Keep, Bin, or delete them.

2. Photos and videos stay on your device

TidyUp reads your photo library only to show items to you for Keep / Bin / Delete decisions. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to our servers. Media processing and the in-app Bin happen locally on your device.

3. Data stored on your device

The App stores local preferences and cleanup history on your device, such as:

• Which items you have already reviewed
• Items waiting in the TidyUp Bin
• Scores, streaks, and achievements
• Settings (theme, language, removal mode, haptics, ad-free window)

Clearing app data or uninstalling the App removes this local information.

4. Permissions

TidyUp requests access to photos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES) and videos (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO) so it can list your media, show thumbnails, play a video when you open it, and — when you choose — send selected items to the system delete flow.

You can change or revoke access in your device settings at any time. Without these permissions the App cannot show your camera roll or complete a cleanup pass.

5. Advertising

The App shows ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, IP address, and interaction data to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent choices where required by law (for example GDPR/UK GDPR and similar rules).

Where required, TidyUp presents a consent form before personalized ads are requested. You may also see a privacy options entry point in Settings when your region requires it.

6. Analytics and crash data

We do not operate a separate analytics backend for TidyUp at this time. Ad SDKs may collect limited diagnostic or performance data as described in their policies.

7. Children

TidyUp is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the App if you are under that age.

8. Your choices

• Revoke photo and video access in system settings
• Use Bin First mode to review items before permanent deletion
• Watch a rewarded ad for a temporary ad-free window when offered
• Change ad privacy options when the App shows that option
• Uninstall the App to remove local app data
